This art piece was to represent an artwork in the National Welsh Museum for people who are visually impaired and not able to access the artwork and its history.

This handmade bag is to represent a key piece that is seen in the original artwork of the 38th Welsh Division at Mametz Wood which can be viewed at the museum or online at this link:

I also created a soundscape in order for the viewers to be able experience the atmosphere of the battle as well as hearing the description of the artwork and the history of the painting and the First World War. 

The tag attached to the bag shows in bold writing of the two tracks available which is played through an mp3 player inside the bag, one track in English translation and one track in Welsh translation.
