This artwork is a candle holder in the shape of a rose.

The project was to focus on the theme of nature. This art piece was to represent the beauty of nature and that it is an eternal 'flame' which is where the link of creating a candle holder sculpture originated from.

This sculpture was created using air hardening clay and painted with acrylic paint. The gems placed on the rose was to represent water drops falling onto the rose.  The stems coming from the centre was to show growth from the candle linking back to the blooming of nature and how it is eternal.
